Disclaimer and some advice on finding a tutor.

The Guitar Circle does not in any way check or validate the information in our tutor database. Nor do we guarantee or warrant in any way the quality of the Guitar Tutors. Full details of our responsibilities are contained in our legal and privacy statement.

If you contact one of the tutors in our register we strongly recommend that you verify any qualifications. You may also want to ask for a couple of references.

If you are booking a tutor for a child you may ask for an enhanced disclosure (http://www.crb.gov.uk/factsheets/fact_disclosure.asp) form: this will be available in cases where the tutor teaches in schools.

Guitar teachers use a variety of teaching methods so the first tutor you study with may not be right for you. Usually this becomes apparent after 3 or 4 lessons and you really need to take this long to get to know each other. So don’t make any commitments to a block of lessons before this amount of time has elapsed.

In the unlikely event that you have real problems with a tutor on our register, please let us know by e-mailing tutor@theguitarcircle.com and we will remove them from our register.
